Every home inspections includes a thermal imaging scan of the property. A thermal imaging camera is a device that can detect temperature changes as a result of moisture intrusion that can be difficult if not impossible to see with the naked eye. It is also used to assess the operation of the HVAC, insulation, and plumbing systems!
A visual inspection for signs of mold and moisture intrusion is completed one very home inspection. Using specialized tools, we can detect hidden moisture intrusion that could potentially cause structural damage.

Chris Lohberg was born and raised in South Florida and has been a licensed Florida Home Inspector for the past 7 years. Over this time he has completed thousands of home inspections and has developed a deep understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the inspection process. Chris has completed both the educational and experiential requirements necessary to obtain the title of Certified Master Inspector, a title reserved for established inspectors with a proven track record. Chris is a part of the International Association of Home Inspectors and operates and abides by the International Home Inspection Standards of Practices.
Chris has also had the privilege of serving his community as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the past 10 years. Chris is a State Certified Fire Inspector as well, and has conducted thousands of fire inspections on local businesses. This background and life experience has given him a unique eye for building construction defects and safety hazards, as well as instilled the integrity and reliability a home inspector should possess. Chris lives in Westlake, Florida with his wonderful wife and 3 beautiful children.
A home inspection is only as good as the report. The days of hand-written paper reports are long gone. Our state of the art reporting software provides a comprehensive, visually pleasing, and easily understandable digital report in both web-based and PDF formats. Each report includes pictures, videos, and helpful information for homeowners.
We believe a report should be meticulous, while not overwhelming to read, which is why our reports are broken down by different sections of the home, and our comments are color-coded by severity of the defect.
